• Account data: email address, name, and credentials you provide when you sign up or log in.
• Business & operational data: information you choose to store in the Service, such as client and pet profiles, appointments, notes, reminders, and payment-related records you attach to your workflow.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and cookies or similar technologies used to keep you signed in and secure the Service.
• Payment data: subscription and billing information is processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to provide and improve the Service; authenticate users; send service-related messages (such as security or account notices); process subscriptions; troubleshoot issues; detect and prevent fraud or abuse; and comply with law. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

Where applicable, we rely on contract (to provide the Service), legitimate interests (security and product improvement), consent (where required, e.g. certain marketing cookies), and legal obligation.

We use trusted third parties to host data, authenticate users, process payments, and send communications. Examples include Supabase (database and authentication) and Stripe (billing). These providers process data on our behalf under agreements that require appropriate safeguards.

We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account subject to legal retention requirements.

We use industry-standard measures such as encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and secure infrastructure partners. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we work to protect your data responsibly.

Pet profiles are managed by you as the business owner; do not enter children’s personal data except as needed for your service relationship.

Our infrastructure may process data in the United States or other countries where our providers operate. We use appropriate safeguards where required (such as standard contractual clauses).
